HARMONIC® Technology
Unique multifunctionality and precision.

HARMONIC® Technology is unique in the way it operates and performs, offering a degree of precision and multifunctionality found in no other energy-based surgical device.

  • One device dissects, cuts, grasps, spot coagulates and creates otomies.
  • Mechanical energy – a blade vibrating 55,500 times a second – simultaneously cuts and coagulates tissue.
  • The ultrasonic vibration reduces tissue to a sticky coagulum, sealing vessels walls together.

Four different tissue effects.

HARMONIC® Technology ultrasonic vibration creates four different tissue effects: cutting, coaptation, coagulation and cavitation.
