This articulating linear stapler enables the transection and resection of tissues, with easier access to targeted tissue. It has a small profile head and a long flexible shaft designed to allow surgeons to get deeper in the pelvis. The PROXIMATE ACCESS 55 Stapler is:

• Flexible – a long shaft with 30º flex designed for better access within a pelvis or thoracic cavity
• Precise – articulating head rotates up to 80º for precise access
• Easy to use – one hand operation (open, close, fire)

The PROXIMATE ACCESS 55 Articulating Linear Stapler is available with either a standard blue cartridge or a thick-tissue green instrument (non-reloadable). Each instrument contains 19 staples and forms a 55mm staple line and can be used for the transaction and resection of soft tissue.

Features include:

• 90° shaft rotation, 30° shaft flex, 80° articulation
• Smaller profile head, with a long shaft – designed for easy access to targeted tissue, such as narrow male pelvis
• Integrated retaining pin
• Two staggered rows of staples
• Staples only – does not cut.
