Our access systems, devices and solutions have been developed and refined by working with surgeons toward a common goal – to minimize the size and number of access sites and improve procedure techniques. Our access products are grounded in a deep scientific understanding of living tissue, body wall anatomy and device interaction. Plus, we offer a full range of educational and training support of our devices for surgical teams. We're always looking for ways to work smarter and think differently to help surgeons care for their patients.
Learn about the proven benefits of ENDOPATH® XCEL™ now with OPTIVIEW® Technology
During laparoscopic surgery, your trocar should be the last thing you have to think about. We believe it should be a seamless part of the procedure – saving you time while providing benefit to your patient.
That's why we developed 5mm ENDOPATH® XCEL™ with OPTIVIEW® Technology. Only OPTIVIEW Technology keeps bodily fluids off the scope during reinsertion through the trocar, offering an effective smudge mitigation vs leading competitive 5mm trocars.* This minimizes the frequency and cumulative time needed to clean the scope, which reduces interruptions and preserves procedural flow.†
We offer a broad portfolio of trocars in a variety of sizes and lengths that don't require additional accessories. They stay in place and allow for smooth instrument exchanges. And they are designed to minimize tissue trauma and maintain insufflation.
Most important of all, they're reliable – so you can focus on the procedure.

Hand-assisted devices facilitate specimen removal or instrument exchanges while maintaining tactility – with all the benefits of a minimally invasive procedure. The ENDOPATH® DEXTRUS® Minimally Invasive Access System is versatile and can be used with laparoscopic or open instruments.

Abdominal access. System versatility. Our Single-Site Laparoscopy (SSL) system helps tackle two of the challenges of traditional laparoscopy.
The SSL Access System consists of two separately packaged components: a seal cap with accessories, and a fixed-length retractor. The device maintains peritoneal gas pressure while allowing for insertion of multiple surgical instruments through a single incision into the abdominal cavity.
