  • View procedural videos, including laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy, total laparoscopic hysterectomy, and oophorectomy
  • View product in-service videos, including HARMONIC® and ENSEAL® Technologies, ECHELON FLEX™ ENDOPATH® Staplers, and laparoscopic suturing

Step 2: Knowledge
Broaden your knowledge through interactive and hands-on demonstrations

  • Use computer-based simulations for understanding the ergonomics of minimally invasive GYN surgery and correct port placement for optimal access
  • View live web stream events discussing techniques and indications for laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy (LSH), total laparoscopic hysterectomy (TLH), and other GYN procedures
  • Participate in one-on-one demonstrations of key technologies, presented by your EES Sales Professional

Step 3: Skills
Advance your skills through virtual and face-to-face programs guided by expert faculty

  • Participate in a Surgical Proficiency Program that includes faculty-facilitated lab experience, preceptorship, video conferencing mentoring, and proctorship
  • Attend the Hysterectomy Options for the Laparoscopic Gynecologic Surgeon course
  • Attend the Advanced Techniques for the Laparoscopic Gynecologic Surgeon course
  • Attend the Merging Business and Clinical Discussion for the Advanced GYN Surgeon course
  • Examine “Case of the Month” videos discussing specific techniques and approaches for gynecologic surgical procedures

Step 4: Confidence
Achieve confidence in new technology through preceptorships/proctorships (small group or one-on-one) and advanced clinical and practice management support

  • Work with a highly skilled minimally invasive GYN surgeon in an OR preceptorship or proctorship
  • View a webinar or video program on how your OR team can build efficiencies for performing MIS GYN procedures
  • Receive patient education materials to discuss MIS options for hysterectomy
  • Review a cost analysis for laparoscopic hysterectomy

ADVANCEMENTS IN GYNECOLOGIC ONCOLOGY: INSTRUMENTS AND TECHNIQUES

  • Engage in discussions about the latest advances in laparoscopic and robot-assisted surgery, advanced energy modalities, OR teamwork, economics and healthcare reform
  • Designed for gynecologic oncologists who currently perform at least ten procedures per month, practice both laparoscopic and robot-assisted techniques, and have an interest in increasing knowledge of advanced energy modalities to include HARMONIC® and ENSEAL® Technologies

LAPAROSCOPIC HYSTERECTOMY OPTIONS FOR THE GYNECOLOGIC SURGEON WITH LIVE CASE OBSERVATION*

  • Expand knowledge, skills, and use of operative techniques and technologies for laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy (LSH) and total laparoscopic hysterectomy (TLH) through live case observations, didactic sessions, and hands-on labs
  • Designed for the gynecologic surgeon interested in adopting new techniques for hysterectomy procedures and increasing knowledge of advanced energy modalities who currently perform six or more hysterectomies per month with 70% of those procedures performed via a laparoscopic approach
