PROXIMATE^® Linear Cutter

Our first linear cutter, the PROXIMATE Linear Cutter is a sterile, single-patient-use instrument that simultaneously staples and divides tissue. It may be used for transection, resection, and the creation of anastomoses.

Features include:

• CAM mechanism for consistent staple formation
• Tissue retaining button – assists with setting the closed staple height and also prevents tissue slippage out of the distal end of the instrument
• Up to eight firings
• Two rows of staggered staples on each side of the cut line
• Safety Lockout feature prevents firing of unloaded device.
• Intermediate locking position allows repositioning of tissue and longest available cut line with our 100mm device, to transect more tissue in one firing.
• Four different reloads available for a variety of tissue thicknesses. (Gold reload available for 75mm)
